Converted Aga’s are old solid fuel heat storage units that have been converted to use gas. Most converted Aga’s use a Junkers valve or a more modern 630 Eurosit valve. The main different between a normal aga and a converted aga is that the gas valve is on the outside of the aga on the left or the right side. This means that the thermocouple used is not going to be a conventional aga thermocouple. It might be a very long universal thermocouple or it might be a thermocouple with an extension on it. Either way the parts are not standard.
